I am a computer scientist with a background in AI research, living in Northern Virginia, USA. I needed a hobby to balance my professional activities, and I chose photography.

I cannot travel too far from home, so I try to find interesting subjects to photograph locally. Sometimes I photograph the same subject in different ways at different times. Do not expect to see professional photos here – all I hope is to rise above the snapshot level.

I usually enjoy taking photos just as much as looking at them later. Therefore, I am not interested in using AI to generate (parts of) my photos. It would feel to much like work anyway :-)
